We are a women-run small business located that is dedicated to designing and manufacturing high quality one-of-a-kind handmade sandboards for people of all ages to enjoy year round, all over the world.
POSITION OVERVIEW
Slip Face Sandboards is seeking a Shop Assistant to assist in all aspects of sandboard manufacturing.
QUALIFICATIONS
No education requirements needed for this position, though it is required that you are familiar and comfortable with power tools such as table saws, routers, etc. We are seeking an excellent communicator who is trustworthy, reliable, and genuinely interested in the position.

Schedule & Training:
We are looking for part-time contractors for 2-4 days per week on a set schedule.
It is important that all employees practice personal and shop safety. We will provide training to ensure machinery is used properly, and that everyone is aware of protective measures around the shop.
Location:
In-person at our woodshop in Tyler, Texas, USA.
Compensation:
We are offering $12-18 per hour depending on experience on a 1099 contract. We review performance every three months, discuss W-2 employment and pay raise opportunities, including potential for bonuses, after six months.
