Glamis Sand Dunes
California, USA
These dunes are a part of the Imperial Sand Dunes Recreational Area. This sand dune field is 40 miles long and 5 miles wide. It is a part of the largest sand dune field (Erg) in California. Head out to vendor row to Gilmore Off Road or Sweet Maries to pick up a sandboard to ride the Dunes.
Great Sand Dunes National Park

The largest sand dunes in North America are located in Mosca, CO. They offer sandboarding, sledding, and sand skiing. The Sand dunes rise over 750 feet and are open year round. If you are heading to the Dunes hit up Kristi Mountain Sports in Alamosa or The Mountain View Motor Inn in Fort Garland to pick up a sandboard for an exciting day at the tallest dunes in the country.
St. Anthony Dunes

The St. Anthony Dunes are definitely the dunes you don't want to miss out on. Not only are these dunes some of the largest dunes, you can also bring your favorite sand toy with you to drive around and find all the best sandboarding locations. Silver Lake State Park

The only sand dunes east of Utah that allow private motorized vehicles. Located in Mears, MI. Sand boards and Sand sleds can be rented from The Sandbox in Silver Lake. The state park contains 2,000 acres of lofty, sand dunes.
Sandboarding Las Vegas
Nevada, USA
There are two Sand dunes fields near Las Vegas. First, the closest of the two in Nellis Dunes off of Las Vegas Blvd. Take your dune buggy out and you will have miles of dunes to ride your board down. Looking for a day trip then you can go to the Amargosa Dunes about 100 miles outside of Vegas. These dunes are up to 500 feet tall.
Jockey's Ridge State Park

The largest sand dunes on the East Coast of North America are located in Nags Head, NC. Check out Kitty Hawk Kites in the State Park to rent a sand sled or even try some kiteboarding on the dunes.
Monahans Sandhills State Park
